How to search trademarks in Afghanistan
Afghanistan has no public online trademark database. The only public record of new trademarks is the Official Gazette (جریده رسمی), printed in Dari and Pashto. afghanip.com makes those notices searchable in English and Dari.
1. Search the published notices
Use the search box with the mark in Latin or Dari script. Tick “Include similar marks” to catch spelling variants and phonetic matches, and filter by Nice class, owner or gazette issue.
2. Browse by class and owner
Each class page lists the marks published in that class, newest first; each trademark page lists the owner’s other marks.
3. Order an official search
Registrations that pre-date the indexed gazette issues are not all online. Before launching a brand, ask for an official search at ACBR-IP through a local attorney. Request a search.
4. Keep watching
A clearance search is a snapshot. A watch compares every new gazette with your marks and emails you when something similar is published.
